How to get from Kansai International Airport to Osaka, Kyoto or Kobe: KIX Airport Access and Transportation

With increased popularity of tourism in the Kansai (roughly Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe) region in Japan, flying into Kansai International Airport (airport code: KIX) means travelers can save time on the easy access of the airport to the areas of interest in Kansai. I am dedicating this blog post to some of the most convenient ways to get to Osaka, Kyoto, or Kobe.
Access from Kansai International Airport to Osaka, Kyoto or Kobe is quite easy

- To read about planning your trip to Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe, visit: Planning you trip to Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe: Planning your trip to Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe

The choice of transportation should be depend on where the hotel or destination is located. I recommend first-time travelers to minimize transfer of train lines to reduce stress and error. I also recommend visitors with large suitcase or luggage to choose express bus because dragging/carrying your luggage in busy train stations during rush hours is not a very pleasant experience.

Just go up to the second floor after arrival

Walk across the bridge and you will arrive at Kansai Airport (Train) Station

Ticket booth staff can answer your questions while you are buying tickets.
